Tropical Storm Prapiroon To Impact Northern Vietnam

Kansas City, July 22 (World Weather Inc.) – Tropical Storm Prapiroon recently advanced into the Beibu Gulf after tracking over Hainan, China. The disturbance will track into northeastern Vietnam later today before slowly making its way into Laos Tuesday and Wednesday. Heavy rain will be a concern for portions of northern Vietnam, northern Laos, and Guangxi, China during the next few days before the disturbance dissipates. Flooding and landslides will be possible and may damage some of rice, coarse grain, oilseeds, sugarcane, and other crops. Little to no damage is expected to Arabica coffee in northern Vietnam since the storm will have weakened greatly by the time it gets to that region.
