Tropical Cyclone Alvaro Brings Heavy Rain To Madagascar
Kansas City, January 2 (World Weather Inc.) – A small tropical cyclone that formed over the Mozambique Channel during the weekend moved across south-central Madagascar Monday and early today producing some moderately strong wind and some heavy rainfall. Flooding resulted in a few areas and will continue along the lower east coast of the nation today. Crop damage should not be very great, although property damage is possible.
