Southern Argentina Will Continue To Dry Down

Kansas City, January 16 (World Weather Inc.) – Buenos Aires and La Pampa received limited rainfall during the past week offering an excellent environment for barley and wheat harvesting which are nearly complete now because of recent fine weather. Late planting of double cropped soybeans is beginning to wind down too and the drier weather expected to prevail in southern Argentina in the coming week will be perfect for getting these processes to conclude. In the meantime, areas to the north in Argentina received significant rain during the past week and the ground has become a little too wet in some central areas. The coming week will trend drier and that should return nearly ideal weather for summer crop development and fieldwork.
