U.S. July Weather To Support More Rain

Kansas City, July 1 (World Weather Inc.) – This week’s high-pressure ridge aloft over the Midwest is not a feature that will be around very often during July – at least not in the eastern part of North America. The ridge is expected to relocate to the west over the Rocky Mountain region and high Plains this weekend and prevail there through much of this month. Some brief movements to the east and west will occur, though the end result will prove to be timely for crop areas in the Midwest. Rain during July is expected to be routine enough in the heart of the Midwest to keep temperatures seasonable and crop development advancing well. A boost in monsoon moisture is also expected in the western United States and Montana will see some periodic rain events.
