Ontario, Quebec Weather Supports Good Summer Crop Yields

Kansas City, August 19 (World Weather Inc.) – Waves of rain in recent weeks across Southeast Canada continued to support a relatively good environment for corn and soybeans. Production potentials are favorable despite many areas in Quebec only receiving light amounts of rain during the past week. The main production areas will either receive rain or have enough moisture to maintain aggressive growth. In the meantime, winter wheat harvesting should be winding down or may be complete. Rainfall during the past week may have slowed or delayed late season harvesting in the wettest locations of Ontario, though drier weather this week will gradually improve late-season harvest conditions.
