Weekly Citrus Weather For August 27, 2024

Kansas City, August 27 (World Weather Inc.) – Florida’s citrus areas received rain on a frequent basis during the past week. The region will trend slightly drier than normal during the coming week, though most locations will have ample moisture to maintain aggressive growth. In Mexico, the northeastern production areas again received little to no rain while east-central and western Mexico received rain on a frequent basis. Monsoonal rainfall will evolve across the country during the coming week and will start to improve the moisture profile in the northeast corner of the country. Production potentials remain lower than usual as a whole for Mexico due to adverse conditions over the growing season. Brazil’s citrus areas will be seasonably dry during the coming week. Harvesting and general farming activity will advance with few disruptions.
