Weekly Citrus Weather for Tuesday, January 14, 2025

Kansas City, January 14 (World Weather Inc.) – Colder weather was the main story in Florida’s citrus country during the past week. No damaging cold weather was noted, though some locations in the north cooled to the lower 30s Fahrenheit for brief periods of time. The next threat for colder weather will not be until at least next Tuesday. Until then, citrus conditions will remain generally good. Brazil’s citrus regions saw a mix of spotty rain and sunshine during the past week. More frequent and significant rain will occur during the coming week, which will maintain a good environment for new growth. Mexico’s citrus areas received mostly light rain during the past week with periods of spotty rain again occurring in the coming week. Frost will be a concern in Nuevo Leon.
