More Tropical Cyclones Expected in Vietnam This Month

Kansas City, October 8 (World Weather Inc.) – Tropical cyclones have been impacting Vietnam and some neighboring areas a little too frequently this year. The ground is exceptionally wet in northern and central parts of Vietnam and flooding Monday was quite significant in northern parts of the nation due to Typhoon Matmo. Three other tropical cyclones have impacted the mainland areas of Southeast Asia this year and the potential for more storms will be rising in the second half of this month. The additional storms and expected torrents of rain will maintain a high risk of serious flooding. This is also true for Laos and the Philippines.
