China Rainy Pattern Ends; Fieldwork To Slowly Resume

Kansas City, October 22 (World Weather Inc.) – Weeks of frequent rain and flooding across the North China Plain and Yellow River Basin have come to an end. Drier weather evolved earlier this week and will continue for the next ten days to two weeks and that should lead to slowly improving fieldwork after some lengthy delays recently. Winter wheat planting and replanting along with a resumption of summer crop harvesting is expected as conditions improve. River flow on a part of the Yellow River last week were the greatest seen since 1964. In the meantime, periodic rain will continue for portions of Sichuan, Yunnan, and neighboring areas.
