China To Receive Mostly Light Rain, Snow In Coming Days

Kansas City, December 10 (World Weather Inc.) – Precipitation was limited across China’s main production areas during the past week. The lack of precipitation was welcome for any winter rapeseed planting and general fieldwork that was not yet complete. Winter rapeseed prospects in the Yangtze River Basin and winter wheat prospects in the North China Plain remained favorable despite most locations receiving no precipitation. The main production areas will see rain and snow evolve in the coming days as a disturbance passes over the country. Precipitation will help keep soil moisture near current levels and maintain good long-term winter crop prospects.
