Southern Argentina Gets Relief From Dryness

Kansas City, November 5 (World Weather Inc.) – Late weekend rain in southern Argentina bolstered topsoil moisture in areas that had been quite dry recently. The moisture was great for reproducing and filling wheat and for the planting of summer crops. Dry-biased conditions occurred in many areas in central and northern Argentina during the past week, although central parts of the nation received significant rain in the previous week. Alternating periods of rain and sunshine are expected through the next ten days to two weeks and that should translate into a favorable weather pattern supporting both fieldwork and aggressive crop development.

Brazil Dry Pockets Remain As Rainfall Improves

Kansas City, November 4 (World Weather Inc.) – Brazil rainfall has been improving over the past two to three weeks, although there are still some pockets of low soil moisture that need to be monitored. Most rainfall indicators suggest the next two weeks will continue to support additional moisture and most of the drier areas should be further eased from recent dryness. Planting and early season crop emergence and development should be improving as each week goes by.
