Argentina Harvest Will Advance Around Spotty Rain

Kansas City, April 22 (World Weather Inc.) – With soybean harvesting just underway in portions of Argentina, the need for drier and warmer weather prevails. Some areas have struggled to harvest aggressive in recent days; though, there is still plenty of time to get the rest of the crop out of the ground in a timely manner. The main Pampas farming region will have a few opportunities for erratic rainfall during the coming week. No major harvest delays are expected and producers should be able to get into the fields aggressively between rain events. Northern Argentina, Formosa in particular, will have more opportunities for rain that may slow the harvest and marginally impact crop quality. Late-season development conditions should remain favorable across the country despite the lack of abundant precipitation.

Weekly Citrus Weather For Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Kansas City, April 22 (World Weather Inc.) – Florida’s citrus areas were dry during the past week with little rain on the way in the coming week. Irrigation will continue to be used statewide, though the need for rain is increasing. Brazil’s citrus areas will receive a little more rain in the coming week compared to recent weeks. The precipitation will be welcome and should support new growth. Production potentials remain lower than usual due to adverse conditions this season. Mexico’s citrus areas are also drying down a little too much and would welcome more rain. The spotty precipitation that occurs through early next week will be unable to significantly impact long-term soil conditions.
