Tropical Cyclone Evolution To Bring More Flooding To Vietnam

Kansas City, August 27 (World Weather Inc.) – A new tropical disturbance is evolving over eastern portions of the South China Sea today and it will slowly develop while drifting west northwesterly toward Vietnam. Landfall is expected during the weekend resulting in more excessive rain over a part of Vietnam and Laos that were inundated with rain from Typhoon Kajiki earlier this week.

Canada’s Prairies To See Good Weather For Maturation, Harvest

Kansas City, August 27 (World Weather Inc.) – The harvest is underway in parts of the Canadian Prairies despite spotty rain, thunderstorms, and high humidity during the past week. Drier and warmer weather evolved in recent days, allowing for better maturation and harvest conditions. The environment will remain relatively favorable for maturation, harvesting, and general farming activity through at least the end of the weekend as warmer biased conditions prevail. There will be opportunities for spotty rain and storms that may impact harvest rates, though no major delays are expected. A more active weather pattern during the second week of the outlook may have greater impacts on maturation and harvesting.
