Rainfall in southeastern Queensland could also impact cotton quality and harvesting.

Weekly Citrus Weather for Tuesday, March 3, 2026

Kansas City, March 3 (World Weather Inc.) – Frost and light freezes were again noted in portions of Florida February 25. Additional damage was suspected of being minimal despite another round of cold weather. Periods of rain were also noted in Florida, which may have impacted harvest rates and damage assessments. Drier and warmer weather is slated for Florida during the coming week. Brazil’s citrus areas will see an influx of rain later this week into early next week. The boost in rain will be beneficial for aggressive citrus growth. Mexico’s citrus areas saw limited rainfall during the past week. The main production areas in east-central and northeastern Mexico will see periods of spotty rain on a frequent basis that will be beneficial for the citrus that is flowering.
