Canadian Prairies Agricultural Weather Prognosticator For March 6, 2026

Inside this issue of the Canadian Prairies Agricultural Weather Prognosticator is an update on the spring and summer weather outlook and an update on January/February precipitation across the Prairies. Updates on soil moisture for selected production areas around the world are included in this issue along with a note about U.S. Midwest and Delta drought relief. Commentary regarding Brazil’s soil moisture and outlook for Safrinha corn is included in this newsletter along with an update about the lack of weather change slated for Canada in March. Argentina’s weather improved recently limiting the impact of its yield losses on the marketplace and an update on wheat production areas in North Africa, Europe and Asia is also included in this month’s assessment.
