U.S. Daily Energy Weather for March 2, 2026

Warmer than normal temperatures along with lower than usual heating fuel demand in some areas and higher than usual cooling fuel demand in other areas will be most common through the next two weeks.

Evening U.S. And South America Weather Update For March 2, 2026

The evening GFS model run in the United States decreased precipitation from central Texas northeast into Kentucky Saturday into next Monday. In week 2, precipitation was increased in the Carolinas, Virginia, and the northeastern Northern Plains March 12-14. Precipitation was decreased in week 2 from central Mississippi through northern Alabama March 10-12. The evening GFS model run in South America increased rainfall in northwestern Argentina Saturday into next Tuesday. In week 2, rainfall was increased across Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and the western half of Brazil’s key production region March 15-17. Rainfall was decreased in week 2 in Paraguay and in central and southeastern Argentina March 12-14.

World Coffee Weather For March 2, 2026

Kansas City, March 2 (World Weather, Inc.) – Rain concentrated on areas north of Sul de Minas during the weekend and the precipitation is expected to become more erratic during the coming week. Tuesday and Wednesday may be the driest days while precipitation late this week into early next week will be greatest from northeastern Sao Paulo into Sul de Minas. Temperatures will trend a little warmer this week especially while rainfall is lightest and most sporadic. Vietnam reported a few showers and thunderstorms during the weekend. The nation’s coffee areas are poised to receive more frequent rainfall during the coming week to ten days. The earlier than usual arrival of seasonal rainfall may induce early season flowering. In the meantime, rain also continues more abundant than usual in parts of Ghana and Ivory Coast and that will likely continue, as well, over the next ten days. India was dry and will remain that way for a while longer while showers occur sporadically in the Greater Antilles, Mexico and Central America. Peru, Ecuador and Colombia will all report frequent rain in the next week benefiting coffee and cocoa production areas.

Southeast Canada 7-Day Weather Outlook for Thursday, March 21, 2024

A strong upper-level trough over central Canada will impact weather for southeastern Canada’s main production areas through the end of the weekend. Isolated snow flurries will evolve today most notably between the Great Lakes. A disturbance tracking around the trough will bring snow to much of the region Friday and Saturday with accumulations ranging from 5 to over 10 centimeters. High pressure will then build over the region and promote drier weather Sunday. The close proximity of the trough will promote colder than normal conditions for much of the region during this time. Daytime highs will struggle to climb more than a degree or two above freezing.

Brazil Coffee Weather For March 2, 2026

Southeast Asia Timely Rain Welcome; More Needed

Kansas City, May 12 (World Weather Inc.) – Portions of Myanmar and northern sections of Laos and Vietnam received much-needed rain in recently. The rain helped improve the moisture profile in several locations ahead of the monsoon. Cambodia, southern Vietnam, Philippines, and portions of Indonesia and Malaysia were otherwise drier or much drier than usual in recent weeks. These areas would benefit from a good soaking of rain before the southwest monsoon begins to ensure favorable planting and establishment. Much of Southeast Asia will see a good mix of rain and sunshine during the coming week. Portions of Thailand, Philippines, and northern Myanmar will receive some needed rain to begin improving soil moisture; though more will be needed. Rain will be welcome where it occurs and may improve early-season planting prospects.

Weekly Citrus Weather for Tuesday, May 12, 2026

Kansas City, May 12 (World Weather Inc.) – Florida remains in a severe drought despite spotty rain in recent weeks. Citrus conditions are less than favorable and there is a pressing need for abundant rain. The main citrus areas will see a good mix of rain and sunshine during the coming week. Soil moisture will improve marginally, though additional rain will be needed to fix the drought. Seasonal rains are due to begin in late May In Mexico, the east-central and northeastern production areas received significant rain during the past week. Additional precipitation in the coming week will maintain favorable development. Brazil’s citrus areas will see a mix of erratic rain and sunshine during the coming week. Minor harvest delays will be possible.

Excessive Wind In NW U.S. Plains, SW Canada Thursday

Kansas City, May 12 (World Weather Inc.) – Strong wind speeds have been a frequent occurrence in the U.S. Plains and a part of Canada’s Prairies this spring and another bout of that is coming Thursday. Wind gusts of 50-75 mph and possibly a little stronger will impact Montana, south-central and southwestern Saskatchewan and portions of eastern, central and southern Alberta causing some power outages and possible structural damage as well as being a threat to high profile vehicles moving across the region. Some windy conditions are also expected in Wyoming, western Nebraska and in a swath from interior western Texas to eastern parts of the Dakotas and western Minnesota.
