World Coffee Weather is designed to provide detailed daily description of weather in every major coffee production region in the world.  The product is designed as an email only weather forecast product and is delivered 6 days per week (Sunday through Friday). Many subscribers combine this service with either our telephone consultation service or website access to provide a more complete picture of weather conditions around the world.

Most coffee production areas covered on a daily basis include Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Central America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, West-Central Africa (Ivory Coast to Nigeria and Cameroon), East-Central Africa (Ethiopia to Tanzania), Indonesia, India and Vietnam.  The Brazil portion of the World Coffee Weather product is produced two times a day Monday through Friday and special weather updates are provided during “weather-driven markets”.  The first Brazil coffee email occurs early in the morning and is designed to summarize the past 24 hours (3 days on Monday) of weather and provide an early look at the forecast. A second email is sent during mid- to late-morning along with the World Coffee Weather product and if there have been any changes in Brazil’s outlook since early in the morning they will be stated at that time. Usually 24-hour rainfall totals and low temperature data is included in the mid- to late-morning coffee weather update for Brazil whereas the early morning product contains 18-hour rain totals and no low temperature information.

Subscribers to World Coffee Weather will also get special situation stories covering the long range weather outlook for South America and other areas along with any detailed articles written regarding potential for crop threatening or damaging weather in major production areas.  The special situation articles will include details of pending frost and freeze events, excessive rain or wind conditions or threatening tropical cyclones. The special situation reports will also follow up extreme weather events with World Weather, Inc.’s assessment of possible crop damage.

World Coffee Weather is designed to support producers, traders, merchandisers, shippers and food companies in their need to profit from changing weather conditions and potential coffee production issues. The knowledge of these potential changes will help subscribers complete successful market trades and/or to be adequately prepared for changes in supply and demand. Changing weather conditions in each of the major coffee regions in the world can have a direct influence on both the cash and futures prices of coffee.  In an average year weather will lead speculative market trade multiple times and quite often rumors about the weather in the market can create great confusion in the direction of future supply and that impacts future prices, as well.  World Weather, Inc. promises its customers to clarify the changing conditions so that better business decisions can be made to save money.

World Weather, Inc.  has over 50 years of combined forecasting experience internationally. Our experience and knowledge of the impacts of weather on most industries puts us well ahead of the competition. The experience also helps tremendously in providing the most accurate weather predictions possible.  None of the World Weather, Inc. staff is allowed to trade commodity futures keeping our forecasts totally unbiased giving subscribers the best possible outlook based purely on weather conditions with no influence from market positions or daily changes in market valuations.
